The course is suitable for pianists and piano teachers who wish to enhance their professional teaching skills and consists of three residential weekends, four study days (on Sundays) and independent study spread over an academic year.

The Seminar will include 12 hours of seminar teaching us ways to incorporate the methodology into our own practicing, plus some instruction in a masterclass format. Copies of Carlo Grante’s publications, and refreshments are included in the cost of the course. CDs signed by Maestro Grante will also be available at £10 per disc. On Thursday night, at the end of Day One, there will be a dinner for participants and friends at a venue to be confirmed (probably Indian Zest).

Soundpractice Artists are excited to welcome internationally acclaimed pianist, Chisato Kusunoki. Her solo recital will precede a programme of cross-genre music arranged by artistic director and guitarist, Cornelius Bruinsma.
The ensemble has been active in support of Scat since Megan Whiteley and Fred Scott, both survivors of Skeletal cancer, teamed up several years ago to perform as a flute and piano duo. Since those early recitals they have been joined by the highest calibre of like-minded musicians.
