New prizes for Competitions

The chair of EPTA UK, Murray McLachlan, has announced 2 new awards.
As artistic director of the Chetham's International Summer School and Festival for Pianists (the largest piano summer school in Europe) he is delighted to award 2 special prizes. At the discretion of the adjudicators, a participant from the Piano Competition and from the Composers Competition will be awarded a FREE place on the course. This will provide 2 students each year wih an opportunity for intensive study with some of the world's leading musicians.
