Murray McLachlan - has made over forty commercial recordings and performed extensively as concerto soloist, recitalist, chamber musician and director. He is Head of Keyboard at Chetham’s school of Music, visiting Professor at St. Andrews University, tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and artistic director of the Chetham’s International Summer School and Festival for Pianists. His articles are published in International Piano and Piano Magazine.

Susan Bettaney - Manchester Regional Organiser and teacher at Chetham’s School of Music. Has organising responsibility for EPTA Young Artists and Friends of EPTA UK. She is also an experienced adjudicator.

Kathryn Page - Kathryn studied piano at the RCM with Yonty Solomon and Phyllis Sellick. Her performing career has taken her from Australia, to Canada and the Caribbean. Having five children, she now enjoys working for EPTA UK, the Chetham's International Summer School and Festival for pianists, the Manchester International Concerto Competition for Young Pianists, as well as adjudicating at festivals around the country.

Bronwen Brindley - Former North Yorkshire Regional Organiser and piano teacher; responsible for the Composers Competition, for members' insurance schemes, and for promoting the John Bigg Scholarship Fund which helps children with tuition fees.

Elizabeth Dewhurst - New to the management committee, Liz is a private piano teacher from Mid Glamorgan. She runs EPTA South Wales and is responsible for the events listings on the website and for Piano Professional magazine.

Heli Ignatius-Fleet - originally from Finland, Heli is a teacher and performer living in Cambridge. She is Director of the Piano Pedagogy Course, represents EPTA UK on the Music Education Council, and is particularly concerned about the standard of initial and in-service training in the UK.

Nadia Lasserson - Pianist, piano teacher, Associated Board examiner, adjudicator, writer and lecturer living in London as well as Organising Secretary of EPTA Europe. Nadia lectures on the Piano Pedagogy Course, has responsibility for liaison with Music Festivals, particularly where an EPTA UK cup is being awarded, and joint responsibility for the Piano Competition.

Nancy Litten - a former piano scholarship holder and prize-winner at the Royal Academy of Music, Nancy Litten set up and directed Kent Music’s Electronic Keyboard Orchestra. She is Director of National Electronic Keyboard Courses www.keyboardcourses.com/org and she hopes to unite people in the piano and keyboard world in EPTA.

Lucinda Mackworth-Young – a pioneering Consultant in Psychology, she runs courses in London and Norfolk. She is also a Concert Pianist specializing in Chamber Music.
She has had wide experience with students and pupils of all ages and abilities teaching the piano, clarinet, recorder, singing, choir, composition, improvisation and general musicianship.

Catherine Miller - Regional Organiser for the Bristol area, Kate is an established and respected piano teacher. Born in New Zealand, Kate taught at Wells Cathedral School for many years, and now runs a summer school and has a thriving teaching practice. She runs the piano competition jointly with Nadia Lasserson.
