PRACTICAL WORKSHOP on DALCROZE EURYTHMICS with KATHRYN KAY
Sunday, 24th April: 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
It seems that at last this year one can realistically organise face to face events. Certainly, the wonders of technology have had their uses in the past couple of years and it has been amazing what has been achieved in the way of learning and communication against all odds but there is nothing like the real thing. These events raise one’s awareness of other approaches and methods and can give plenty of new ideas for teaching. I know that Kathryn Kay will lead this workshop with freshness and enthusiasm and leave us inspired to try out some of the activities in our own work. She is a highly experienced Dalcroze teacher and teaches this method at the Royal College of Music. The Steyning Centre is a spacious, attractive venue with a Steinway grand piano. The centre has its own large car park immediately outside the building. Please see the attached flyer for further information about Kathryn Kay and the workshop and also links to the Dalcroze website: http://dalcroze.org.uk
There will be a short break in the middle with tea/coffee/biscuits included in the price.
